The Ritz-Carlton magazine is a quarterly brand publication which can be found in every hotel room. The task was to redesign the magazine in a way that felt refined and aspirational, without feeling too stiff or restrained. The luxury brand was hoping to continue to appeal to long time customers, while also gaining a younger, more digital-first audience.

We cleaned up typography by introducing a mix of serif and stencil fonts, removing the existing script typeface previously used. Introduced more white space into the grids for an airier feel - letting the photography breath. Stripped away colorful design elements and really let the photography bring vibrancy and life into the layouts. Our design system was extended to digital and social, for a 360-degree brand experience. Worked with the editorial team to concept brand partnerships.
